WHO AM I?
Motion graphics and graphic designer.
I was born and raised in the Faroe Islands, where I’ve lived most of my life. In 2009, I graduated at MGK, a three year music course and started teaching music at the local school.
After three years, I moved to Aarhus, Denmark in order to further my education, and while I was there, I got interested in media, filmmaking and animation.
After four years in Aarhus, I decided to move to Copenhagen, to study Multimedia Design and Communication at KEA, Copenhagen School of Design & Technology.
I am passionate about animation, motion graphics, music, art and design, and I wish to put my skills to good use.

WHAT IS PYRE FROG?
Pyre Frog is my agency, and the name derives from an experience I had while camping with my girlfriend in the woods during the summer of 2017. The story goes as follows…
The night was young, and stars were bright. Sound of mild breeze went through the woods as the red embers from the bonfire gave us warmth.
As we were sitting in our camping chairs, listening to the sounds of the forest, a tiny frog came jumping along. We observed him in silence, as he didn’t seem to have noticed us.
All of a sudden, he changed course towards the flames. We wanted to save him, but it was too late. He jumped head-first into the burning flames, and landed in the midst of the glowing embers. My girlfriend and I looked at each other in surprise. Why did that little frog do that? I guess we will never know.
Soon after, I decided that my agency should be named after that little green fellow.

As a motion- and graphic designer, I wish to convey an honest and truthful message, whilst it being entertaining and visually appealing.
I am constantly on the lookout for ways to improve my skills.
